Our clients wanted a remodel to perfectly fit all their needs, maintaining their open concept but adding a walk-in pantry, office space, and a bigger island with enough room to still eat and play. The Kitchen Loft & SWO General Contracting collaborated to move the kitchen and rebuild their dream from the ground up.
Plenty of open space before the remodel . . .

. . . but not enough utility
So, with the help of SWO General Contracting, we gutted the entire space so the layout could be redesigned. We added new walls for a walk-in pantry which added a sectioned-off space for an office and shifted the kitchen down. The entire main level flooring was redone in Gentek O’keefe hardwood.
The Plan
The Transformation

Living Room
The Living room was moved to the old dining space with a brand new built-in fireplace and custom electronic station.
We added extra functional storage with hidden charging and electrical ports.

Kitchen
The kitchen retained its beautiful open concept with built-in stainless steel appliances, a large island, and a custom coffee bar with undermount lighting. The countertops are locally made quartz with subtle veining of grey and gold, perfect for any décor.

Pantry
The pantry was designed to maximize storage while preventing the space from feeling crowded.
Its custom cabinetry matches the kitchen’s with Lectus MDF with dovetail drawers for durability and longevity painted a soft Sage. The Champagne hardware pulls the warm tones out of the countertop.
Safe to say, our clients loved it!
To the left of the stovetop, the kitchen has a wood pull out utensil bin with a built in knife block to help with storage and organization.
The island has cabinets for extra storage in the flat door style – stained a warm and inviting maple complimenting the hardware. The undermount lighting matches the kitchen cabinetry and ensures easy visibility.
To the right of the stovetop, the kitchen has a wood pull out with 3 shelves and a soft close to help store spices and keep them easy to access.
