Using our 3D modeling service, you can test out different styles and colours of cabinetry to find what works best for you. This kitchen explored variations on the colours, style of range hood, and presence of glass cabinetry until they found the perfect design.
Installation
Preserving the countertop posed a special challenge while renovating, but The Kitchen Loft rose to that challenge. Throughout the whole renovation process, even when the walls were being accessed for wiring, special attention was paid to keeping the countertops free from damage.
After
The wall cabinetry was completely replaced with maple shaker cabinets in a basalt finish and equipped with soft close hinges. By bringing the cabinets to the ceiling we provided a little extra storage space and a cleaner overall look. The structure of the floor cabinets was preserved to keep the countertop intact, but the overlay doors were replaced with a matching shaker style and brought into harmony with the upper cabinetry with a beige-tinted repaint.
The contemporary champagne bronze hardware brings out the warm tones and bridges the two cabinet finishes. The backsplash was redone in a distinct vertical offset pattern adding a subtle but striking touch to the kitchen with delicate shades of glossy white tile. It provides a contrasting canvas to the wood range hood with its matching basalt finish.
