Our clients wanted a kitchen that reflected their modern style, moving away from warm yellow to embrace elegant blue. The Kitchen Loft delivered a refreshed kitchen combining timeless white cabinetry with a stunning blue backsplash that brings texture, color, and personality to the space.
Before

The kitchen was done up in warm colours from their golden walls to the countertops and floor, but the design felt dated. The shadows cast by the undermount lighting against the upper cabinetry made the room feel darker and cramped. All the little inefficiencies like the fridge obstructing access to upper cabinetry added up to a kitchen that worked against you instead of with you.
Same space, same layout . . . with a new design and a new life
After
The arctic white cabinets were kept minimalist and elegant wiith a slim shaker door style and L-riser crown moulding to seal the cabinets against the ceiling preventing those dark shadows.
The custom range hood keeps the brilliant white cabinetry from being interrupted. The lower cabinetry hides rollout drawers, rotating corner trays, a double waste basket, and a spice drawer. The brushed nickel hardware gives the entire look a sleek modern finish.
The island was done in the same style but painted a soft blue to match the glossy tones of the artisan backsplash tiles. Bringing a pop of colour to the kitchen while keeping that aesthetic refinement. The white base and delicate veining of the quartz countertops compliments the cabinetry perfectly and the new island overhang provides extra seating.
