A complete remodel of a 20th century classic in Wortley Village. The Kitchen Loft & SWO General Contracting collaborated to remove walls, reroute HVAC and plumbing, remove asbestos, design and install a beautiful open concept kitchen.
Before
The Kitchen was old-fashioned and closed off from the rest of the house. The Dining Room was small with limited functionality and the shared Living Room floor was damaged.

Our clients had a vision for their kitchen and their home. We were able to help focus it while keeping the parts that made it uniquely theirs intact, then source the materials and bring it to life.

Using 3D modeling we tested different combinations of cabinet style and colours, countertop material, and furniture arrangement until we found the perfect fit.
Kitchen
A large trendy galley with a striking contrast between dark and light with the wood floor, quartzite countertops, ceramic backsplash and dark wood shaker cabinets. The kitchen appliances are stainless steel with an undermount sink set into the island and a microwave built into the cabinetry.
The kitchen bay window was replaced with a set of dark sliding doors for convenient patio access. This allows the natural light to fill the newly open space with the help of the light colour of the walls, floor, and ceiling.
